Day 7
At Friday we had another regular day at the crèche only we missed one teacher so they divided all the kids and we mostly helped the cook with preparing the lunch. We (Peter and Anneke) were the onces who picked up all the kids so we were in a car with 10 people all the kids on our laps. When we came home we relaxed a bit. And we went to the shopping mall. The shopping mall is super big. We were lost in the mall. We were searching for a coffee place called mugg and beans. They had nice coffee it was amazing. And it has a really nice atmosphere. After that we went home and talked a lot.
Day 8
Yesterday we had a free day so we didn't do that much we slept long and after that Roeli and I went to the shopping mall again. We wanted to look around more. When we finally found the mall (with some help of nice people) we saw a cinema inside of the mall. We decided that we would have a drink and after that we would go to the film. So we did. at 14:45 the film began. We went to the film the jungle book. We paid 39 rand for the ticket. (2,40 euro) and it was a good film too. After the film Roeli and I ate sushi at home and we watched another film: Sophie's choice. It was a really sad film. We were all so tired after that that we went to sleep. Because the next morning we would go to chuch.
Day 9
Today we went to the black church in Motherwell or at least that was the plan. We went to the church of a friend of peters called Moses. The ceremony would begin at 11:00 so we were there at 10:50. We waited and waited and no one came. At 11:45 we left and we wanted to go the Moses' house but when we came there it was locked. We asked a neighbour and he said that he went out. At that moment we heard singing and we went to look. It appeared to be another church and we asked if we could come and watch. But because it was a black church and we were white people and visitors we had to sit up front. It was really long because a lot of people did a testimony. Eventually when they were done the priest came and introduced us. They praised us to heaven like we were some kind of saints. It made us feel really uncomfortable. After that they sang for us. It was a weird experience. We all left the church with a weird felling. We decided to go to the beach because we knew that there was a market. We walked there and we had dinner with Tia who came over. Tia went home with us and we talked for a long time. Now we are having tea and going to bed soon. Tomorrow will be fun we are going to play with the thamsanqa kids at the beach.

Hoi Britt, een saint? Ha ha dat is wel heel toepasselijk voor jullie. Zojuist even via facetime contact gehad en was ook wel weer leuk om even je' bruine' gezicht te zien. Nog een paar dagen genieten en dan weer gereed maken voor een lange reis terug. We zijn benieuwd naar je verhalen en foto's. Dikke kus Papa en mamma zegt ze net nog -

Hoi Britt,Wat een belevenissen allemaal.En zo mooi dat de mensen het zo met jullie delen. Er is een heleboel straks om nog over te praten. Maar je moet het zelf eerst allemaal verwerken. Nog even en het zit er al weer op, dus nog lekker genieten. Kus van opa (en oma natuurlijk). -

Dame wat een belevenissen allemaal. Bijzonder dat je daar een kerkdienst mee hebt gemaakt. Heb je daar ook met de mensen mee staan zingen en klappen? .
En dat je ook tijd hebt om te shoppen en sushi te eten hartstikke leuk
